Text Messaging Opt-in and Opt-out

General Information

All our students automatically registered for notification services.

We divided those services into two sections:

Operational such as:

  • Login confirmations
  • Password reset
  • Billing and Invoicing
  • Class notification
  • Student/Educator comunications
  • Schedule and updates
  • Cancellations
  • Session Reminder
  • Any operational alerts

Marketing such as:

  • Promo
  • Discounts

Each SMS channel uses a different dedicated DID (phone number). You may opt-out at any given time using the following procedure.

Opt-out from Operational SMS may create an issue with a login when using two-way authentication on your profile. That includes but not limited to:

Text Messaging Opt-out

No matter how amazing your product, service, or marketing is, there will always be someone who doesn’t want to receive commercial text messages. If you offered an opt-in or double-opt-in and the customer hasn’t responded, consider that an opt-out. It’s safest not to reach out to customers unless they are expecting it. Your recipients can also opt-out of receiving text messages from you at any time by texting in words “STOP,” “QUIT,” “UNSUBSCRIBE,” “OPT-OUT,” or “CANCEL.” It’s important to make opt-out easy. The message carrier will see these messages and stop any messages from going out to that customer.

Delayed or Undelivered Messages

Kids on the Yard is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Kids on the Yard used https://twilio.com (opens in a new tab) and Amazon Service (opens in a new tab) as primary SMS Gateways.

Modifications:

We may add, change or eliminate part of this policy and other aspects and make other changes at any time without sending a personal notification about the change.

We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the site or the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

You agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the site or the Services.
